I just subscribed to a new community but I am only seeing one post. Is there a setting I need to change to see older posts on the newly subscribed community?

I have a few domains and some space available on a we server that I have had for ages but never really used. Its mainly meant for website hosting and it works pretty well for WordPress and similar services....

With the addition of ads for paying users, is there anything subscribers can do to protest? I hate ads with a passion....
