So I’ve switched to lemmy since the reddit meltdown started, experienced quite some withdrawal symptoms, occasionally turned back to reddit, more often logged out than logged in. Now I am merely using Lemmy occasionally and by far not as often as I used reddit before. No more doom scrolling....

I recently installed CachyOS which comes with linux-cachyos-bore as the default kernel, and I have to say that it does feel a lot snappier to just use and click around, even though I have almost the exact same Plasma setup as my previous Arch install. I was looking for a place to share my two favorite Mastodon and Lemmy clients, they are called Voyager Connect Boost for Lemmy and Moshidon for Mastodon (if you are really serious about privacy I recommend Connect still) (the official Mastodon app works fine though, you just can’t follow new hashtags from it)...

I have a projector that needs limited rgb range, but for some reason (maybe a faulty hdmi-vga dongle) the intel driver selects full range. I want to force the limited rgb range when I plug the projector, but I need it set to auto normally, because my usual monitor needs full range....
