The thing is that anarchism fundamentally doesn’t scale. There’s a reason we see central authority arise in every functioning society regardless of its political system. It’s the same reason complex animals evolve things like nervous systems and brains. Large organism need a way to coordinate actions towards a common purpose, and a human society is no different. This is why we see anarchist style societies at small scales, and then as they grow they develop central coordination mechanisms. The fact that anarchist can’t wrap their heads around this simple concept is frankly depressing.

Indeed, and this is why anarchism is really just an offshoot of the liberal ideology at the end of the day. Idealism holds that existence is inseparable from human perception and that reality stems from the mind. This leads them to think that they can just will reality into existence through sheer force of will. The general premise most anarchists seem to believe is that the state is responsible for all the problems in society, and if it was somehow abolished then people would just naturally act in cooperative and enlightened way. This appears to be premised on the assumption that most people think the way anarchists do.

I’d like to see a reminder app that figures out how to space out your reminders, and if you nooze a reminder then it gets slotted at some random future date.

I find I end up making reminders for shows I want to watch, books I want to read, etc. These don’t have any specific day associated with them, but I do want o get to them at some point. So getting a reminder once a week or so to check out one of the items on a list would be really nice.

I do that now, but it’s a bit clunky I find. Basically, I don’t really want a calendar, so much as just getting a reminder sometime in the future, and if I have time and I’m in a mood I’ll look at it, and if not then I snooze and it’ll pop up later sometime.

Here’s a helpful tip for you. Go back and look at the predictions people made over the past two years, then see how many of those predictions were in line with what actually happened. Then stop listening to people who were consistently wrong about absolutely everything. Perun is a perfect example of somebody who was exposed as a complete and utter fraud. What’s amazing to me is that this stuff is now openly reported in western media, and we still have people running around talking about Russia collapsing any day now. I suspect that a lot of the people who got really invested in project Ukraine stopped paying attention a while back, and they’re just regurgitating the talking points they memorized two years ago.

I think it was a very calculated move actually. He did this right before the Switzerland circus, and it forced the west to say that they reject peace. This shows the rest of the world that it is indeed the west that wants the war to keep going which makes it impossible for western diplomats to go around claiming that Russia doesn’t want peace.

That’s the thing with propaganda, it can work for a while, but material reality always wins in the end. I find liberals in particular tend to be susceptible to this because their ideology is rooted in idealism.
