The second problem is absence of regional prices in other markets but Steam.

They are selling games two (!!) or so times cheaper in RU region. For example, AAA game might cost 60 dollars or 6000 rub in US but it will costs 35 or 3500 rub in russian steam.

Even though I couldn’t afford games in the past and pirated them - at some point I started buying stuff just because it gives much better, hustle -free experience.

Why would you be so sure it’s not intentional?

In my country insurances won’t let you buy one that is necessary-to-drive by adding such “bugs” and impossible captchas for newbie drivers and motorcyclists. Works like a charm in a court - they just say it was a bug

The reason for Android's Notification system being better than iOS, is solely due to the ability to turn off individual aspects of an application's notifications.

Google, the poor multi-billion dollar scrappy startup that maintains Android, made a payment app that has one notification setting, "Google Pay". So all the ads, promotions, everything.

3rd party apps like PhonePe & Paytm have a better system.

How do you manage to maintain this OS?

Good point (even though it sounds bad if you consider the notification channel’s purpose) but not true in that particular case: I’ve talked to a bunch of people using Viber and it still has only one active “call” channel

Monitor the temp gauge in your car. Overheated my civic’s engine when radiator leaked :( had no warnings until it’s too late (2008 one). had to replace it, now always trying to have an eye on it

It’s just a different method of passing on the knowledge. Nothing changed with smartphones - just a different way to exchange information that can’t appear in your head by itself

I wrote my own software and used commercial plotter (from 90s - it is way faster than 3d printer) in order to achieve result that can make teacher believe that it was written. In my language it is required for letters to be connected when handwritten (my program does it), there are different variations for each letter that are stretched and rotated during generation (I used pen tablet in order to input them)

It was written mostly when I was in 10-11th grade (that’s why the code is spaghetti) and I indeed wasted much more time than I would if I did my homework like a normal person

Are there really that many terrible drivers out there?

I see so many YouTube videos of people running blatantly red lights and getting in accidents or other videos of people stopped and gunning it backwards, hitting something, then they put it in drive and launch full speed forwards and hit something else. What is going through these peoples mind? I just don’t get how there is...

Are you talking about usa? Bc it is the same in many countries but they usually don’t deal with such a big amount of terrible drivers (ain’t saying that to “usa bad” talk, just my pov)

Honestly - due to stereotypes. But logically thinking I’d say that most driving routes aren’t very complicated in US when compared to European countries according to what I’ve seen in movies, dash cam videos and etc. Also IIRC most people in US live outside big cities: like in smaller towns so they mostly drive on interstates or small streets (nothing complicated). See the stop sign? Stop’n’go. Red light? Stop. Green? Go.

I’m from Russia (many bad drivers here too so I won’t say anything bad about us haha) but in Europe it’s pretty close: many roundabouts, sometimes complicated road markings, denouements even in small cities. Streets of American cities are also engineered in simpler way: there are square blocks of houses with perpendicular intersections . So drivers simply don’t need that much rules and tend to fail in simpler situations when compared to European country when you deal with some over engineered sh.t.
