Who would win: every human in the world vs. every animal in the world?

I’m thinking the animals would easily defeat us, since trying to get all 8 billion+ humans to agree on a plan of attack would be a near-impossible task. By the time we’d be done trying to coordinate a plan, I figure the lions and cheetahs would have already devoured us, not to mention the larger animals like the elephants....

If they team up and act coordinated, animals should win pretty easy. You would be attacked immediately by thousands of insects and a lot of birds when you step outside. They could poison water and food sources and attack the electrical grid. Large mammals would be our smallest problem. Imagine coordinated moscito attacks and small bugs crawling into your home through every small gap by thousands. Thx for the nightmare. Reminds me of the Birds from Hitchcock.

I think they are preparing to go full cloud soon. You can make much more when customers have to pay something like 29$ a month to use the operating system. At home or work there will be just a thin client left. And this recall database will be worth much more to harvest data when you have to store it on azure. I am sure this will come eventually. Storing it local is just the first step. Once the backslash is over and everyone is using it they will move the stuff to the cloud. “You will own nothing and be happy”.

sasquash ,

exactly. like a former boss of mine said: if they are complaining, they are working!

But how would you implement that new Microsoft Screenshot surveillance bullshit feature? Just imagine what a giant waste of resources that is. You have something on your screen which is information and mostly likely already in a good form to process like text. But it makes a screenshot every few seconds and uses some “AI” to make the already existing information searchable again from a fucking screenshot??? Maybe I missed something but that is how I understood the feature.

I am currently using Fedora mostly for gaming. I wonder what’s different to Nobara?

sasquash ,

Thx. Nvidia compatibility was the only problem I had so far. But I could solve it myself. Will check Nobara maybe the next time I get issues.

sasquash ,

I think it’s a big bang theory reference

sasquash ,

Fully agree. Don’t forget to support our open source heros every know and then (if you can ofc).

sasquash ,

haha I really like Linux but that’s funny and somehow also true😂

just buy pizza dough, tomato sauce, mozzarella and toppings of your choice and make a fresh pizza. Takes 2min to prepare. It’s healthier and tastes much better.

fuck them. I built my own streaming service on my NAS and pirate everything. If there is a consumer friendly service where I can watch everything, I am willing to pay for content again.

sasquash ,

Pretty sure it’s possible in Liechtenstein, Andorra and Monaco

I was thinking about buying the game since it was a massiv hit. But guess I will pass now. Even though it wouldn’t affect me as PS5 player. I just can’t support such decisions.

SEO in combination with AI is cancer!

this should also lead to better benefits and pay for on-site workers. many people will start looking for office jobs which increases demand for on-site.
