@Susan60 @vee @actuallyautistic exactly, as much as i indirectly sought out neurodivergence in my friends, I was actively looking for tolerance and acceptance and a willingness to put me in my place when im being a bitch. Not everyone is willing to take my big mouth to task but someone has got to. :))))))

@vee @actuallyautistic I consider myself very lucky to have the friends I do. Conversely, a younger me put an insane amount of effort into only making friends with people who were also ND/ND-tolerant. Given that I wouldn’t discover the autism until after I had made all of my current long term friends, it’s impressive I think, even if I have had a lot of heartbreak along the way.

@CynAq @hmm_cook @actuallyautistic ahaha People issues aside? Accessibility Coach. I wanna yell at people/corps for not making appropriate/legally-mandated/completely normal and low effort accommodations for people with disabilities of all kinds. Autism being just one of many things that are normative to the point that someone should write guide to it. “seeeeeeeee i promise it’s not that hard to be nice to people who have different needs than you.” 🤣
