They don’t care if you bring them back. They put them in a disposal system and won’t document who you are.

The only time prescription monitoring comes into play is if you’re filling more than a normal amount. Some states have limits on pain pills or morphine equivalents. Unless you’re popping 10 a day and begging docs for refills, nobody gives a shit.

Are you afraid of becoming addicted? Or just that they won’t give you pills when you need them?

You could definitely bring them back to a pharmacy. But It might be better to give them to a trusted loved one who will give them to you when they know you need them. Although if you have a doc that wrote the script for you, they’d almost certainly do it again next time, assuming you go through a similar surgery.

There’s a lot of talk about pain meds, but tbh docs are still willing to give them out. Docs are trained in red flags but anyone looking at your record would see someone who legit needs it.

During the peak, clouds rolled in in the Philly area. I was able to see it on and off, but missed most of the peak except for a few second here or there. Sounds like others had it much worse than I did though, so I can’t complain.

Yeah, school board meetings targeted by Moms for “Liberty”. Online, you can find rightwingers bitching, but it’s a lot of exaggerated stuff.

In high school, I read some pretty sexual stuff (Canterbury Tales are fuckin vulgar, Toni Morrison writes in a very erotic way at times. Nobody ever bitched about that though because it was straight eroticism. Any page I’ve seen from these newer books is only “objectionable” because its not cishet sex/eroticism.

Idk the exact numbers, I could only find people in solitary at any given time or during a specific period, but 90% seems high. I did see research showing that Black people are over-represented in solitary, relative to prison populations. It’s pretty subjective who gets punished in what way, so I imagine officers’ biases are a big factor.

But solitary is definitely overused in general

Estimated 2023 revenue for WNBA = $200 million. Your entire argument is predicated on inaccurate data. WNBA revenue doubled YOY, while player pay remained the same. But if you are all for our corporate overlords keeping our money, you do you. It’s fine to be a conservative ig. Just odd that Lemmy keeps putting forth these right wing arguments about revenue when the population tends to support fair pay for workers in other domains.
