The egg from mayo might have also helped it thicken

general_kitten ,

Dry as a bone would be an understatement, it would be charcoal in a puddle of fat at that temp

general_kitten ,

Well warm dry moving air is even more effective

general_kitten ,

I bet it would not be hard to have a simple script stringing together some words you paper-boned carpet-smelling mud eater

The vegan hate likely comes from people who dont really know vegans or only know them from the internet so they only know the vocal minority

general_kitten ,

In many cultures blood, sometimes dried is used in cooking.

For example blood sausage and blood pancakes are eaten in finland

One of my worst nightmares was a dream that i wanted to wake up from but i just woke up into another dream that i thought was just my real actual bedroom but wasnt and after I realized that the cycle would just continue until i became meta-aware enough to realize and the cycle then escalated to an almost indescribable feeling i can only describe like constantly seeing things like your are every second waking up from another dream into your own bedroom yet you still feel your body in one of the spaces(still a dream)

general_kitten ,

In finland they are adjusted by the tap so you can have appropriate temp./pressure.

general_kitten ,

They are just bad quality then

Technically excretion does lower the total thermal energy of the body as it is leaving your body with the excretion, but it does not really in itself cool down the temperature of the body as the temperature is the same as your body (unless you define cooling down as negative change in the thermal energy needed to remove to lower object’s temperature to zero K). Though if for example you drink cold water it does cool your body very slightly and urination could be thought of as dumping of used coolant.

The sandwich was created* by Lord Sandwich in the 18th century when he wanted to gamble and eat at the same time without having his hands dirty

The story sounds a lot like the gary chess meme but it is more true

*well technically by his butler and it is not verifiable if he was the first but at least the name comes from there

Consensual genocide is my favourite kink

My guess is that Mr. Elongated Muskrat didn’t own the land before so I would imagine the previous landowner harvested the trees before the construction/land purchase

The water in my community also has a dangerous chemical added to it. it is found in all of our food, accumulating in our bodies. In world war one it was a large risk for soldiers as it could cause a disease that makes your limbs start to rot away. Many buildings have to be dismantled because of exposure to it. In humans it has been shown to cause swelling of cells possibly even killing them and also asphyxiation. It has not only directly caused countless deaths but research has found it in bodies of every single dead human.

They are adding water to our water.

Yeah in summer the electricity here can be very cheap in summer but in winter it can go to 0.20-1€/kw/h

Organic mercury compounds can look like water and absorb quickly through skin, they can be potent enough for just a drop on your skin being deadly, even if you have gloves as it can penetrate quickly through many different rubbers. Metallic doesn’t kill you even if you ate it*. With metallic mercury highest risk is vapours but unless you heat it it will only become a problem in poorly ventalated areas.

*assuming you have no open wounds on your digestive tract and minor chronic damage might be still caused depending on amount and frequency.

But it is tungsten that reigns supreme:

All the people here who bought this wireless tungsten cube to admire its surreal heft have precisely the wrong mindset. I, in my exalted wisdom and unbridled ambition, bought this cube to become fully accustomed to the intensity of its density, to make its weight bearable and in fact normal to me, so that all the world around me may fade into a fluffy arena of gravitational inconsequence. And it has worked, to profound success. I have carried the tungsten with me, have grown attached to the downward pull of its small form, its desire to be one with the floor. This force has become so normal to me that lifting any other object now feels like lifting cotton candy, or a fluffy pillow. Big burly manly men who pump iron now seem to me as little children who raise mere aluminum.

I can hardly remember the days before I became a man of tungsten. How distant those days seem now, how burdened by the apparent heaviness of everyday objects. I laugh at the philistines who still operate in a world devoid of tungsten, their shoulders thin and unempowered by the experience of bearing tungsten. Ha, what fools, blissful in their ignorance, anesthetized by their lack of meaningful struggle, devoid of passion.

Nietzsche once said that a man who has a why can bear almost any how. But a man who has a tungsten cube can bear any object less dense, and all this talk of why and how becomes unnecessary.

Schopenhauer once said that every man takes the limits of his own field of vision for the limits of the world. Tungsten expands the limits of a man’s field of vision by showing him an example of increased density, in comparison to which the everyday objects to which he was formerly accustomed gain a light and airy quality. Who can lament the tragedy of life, when surrounded by such lightweight objects? Who can cry in a world of styrofoam and cushions?

Have you yet understood? This is no ordinary metal. In this metal is the alchemical potential to transform your world, by transforming your expectations. Those who have not yet held the cube in their hands and mouths will not understand, for they still live in a world of normal density, like Plato’s cave dwellers. Those who have opened their mind to the density of tungsten will shift their expectations of weight and density accordingly.

To give this cube a rating of anything less than five stars would be to condemn life itself. Who am I, as a mere mortal, to judge the most compact of all affordable materials? No. I say gratefully to whichever grand being may have created this universe: good job on the tungsten. It sure is dense.

I sit here with my tungsten cube, transcendent above death itself. For insofar as this tungsten cube will last forever, I am in the presence of immortality.

It is mainly only in stainless steels that have anything other than iron in high concentrations, they might have something like 30% of their weight elements other than iron

When i was in bulgaria there were also many cats and i made a friend there.

general_kitten ,

Every day i learn something new that some cat does. Truly the least cat-like thing a cat can do is what i expect them to do.

general_kitten ,

Thats why you use UHT milk for these applications

general_kitten ,

At least the ones i have tasted decaf espresso does taste more weak but might have been because my decaf beans were noticeably older and the freshness seems to be one of the biggest factors. If i took decaf coffee somewhere based on my knowledge i would likely just assume that it is old/low quality/not brewed strong enough before i would assume its decaf

general_kitten ,

At least us finns only have a rivalry with sweden
