Yeah the best thing I can say is play as much as you work but also be kind to your future self. Do things today to make your life better in the future. That can be anything from washing the dishes to starting a retirement account. I say start a retirement account because compound interest and decades until you retire is a powerful combination and no matter what you do, more money can usually help.

I’ve always thought police need to be held to a higher standard. They have weaseled out of so much responsibility for anything. If they want law enforcement powers they should conduct themselves professionally at all times, not as killers or cowards or bullies.

It wasn’t for me, too wordy and felt more like something for accounting/corporate than a programmer. I was offered a good-paying job programming COBOL out of college but turned it down because I didn’t want to spend my life with it. But that’s just me.
