Stoked to have grabbed an on-sale copy of #MarthaWells’ City of Bones from Amazon this morning. After finishing Witch King (loved!), was searching around for recommendations when someone mentioned this one.
I really enjoyed the book. An android with human-like features is nothing new in sci-fi, but I really liked this version. The main character android is very likeable.
Very interesting novella. Wells puts us in the mind of a security robot that's slipped its leash. The book takes us through its struggles, and the struggles of those around it, to wrestle with its humanity. I really enjoyed this, and am looking forward to the rest of the series.
