Ya these people are so out of touch (so more likely they want people in buildings so they are getting people to come in so buildings aren’t empty) that’s my guess at least.

Business don’t wanna pay for a lease with no one in there, since work from home can be fine but they seem to despise it. Makes no sense.

I agree with this. Reddits best sort or even hot somehow seemed or felt better with what was shown to you.

Although Lemmy ain’t bad and I’m sure it’ll better in time (even if it stays the same still beats reddits bs now)

I used to work the evening/night shift at a coffee shop chain. That time of night in inherently slow, so we would get saddled with the general upkeep of the equipment. Nothing too high tech, just simple disassemble, clean, re-assemble (coffee grounds get into EVERYTHING). I took a shining to the task because I’m fairly handy...

Ya I was legit thinking the same thing. Even as a theft deterrent, I don’t think they’d care especially if they want it for a joy ride or something?

If Lemmy and Mastodon continues to get popular, we will eventually get Instance wars.

If the descentralization of social networks continue, we will have to prepare for the eventual rise of the instances wars, where people will start to fight about which instance is better and which one is weird to be in and so on, but that’s for the future of us all.

Yes this is great! Between this and wefwef which is Apollo lookalike right now for iOS ppl this is great! Just need everyone over to Lemmy now but that’ll prob take decades

Yes I have. There both good it legit comes down to personal preference. I preferred boos between the 2 but Sync is just as good.
