How to make yourself richer and protect the planet – Elevator Pitches

https://youtu.be/fCEIjEUlQr4

"To generate climate dividends, Barnes would implement a hard, declining carbon cap. (A tax ..., he says, is not enough ...) Permits would be auctioned ... to upstream sources, where carbon enters the economy. As the number of permits declined, permits would [increase in] value... and dividends would increase, driving a virtuous ... cycle that brings public support behind carbon reduction"

If Kerr survives this episode, he's gonna feel like a complete idiot seeing how redeems his honor in the Dominion War.

Weird question, but is anybody in my reach on Mastodon a native-speaker of Oceanic languages?

(that's Hawaiian, Samoan, Fijian, related or nearby Polynesian/Micronesian languages, which I say to clarify the question for other people in the middle who might be forwarding it, not because anyone who speaks one will need the clarification)

This is not for anything big; I'm just trying to get some POV about how folks refer to the alphabet & diacritic marks.

Been Alpha, and now Closed Beta testing an new MMO, Palia. (https://www.palia.com/). It's a "casual" MMO more around crafting and community building than the typical "Murder Hobo" dynamic. If it sounds interesting, check it out. If you do sign up, use my link (below) because I can get some cool in-game stuff if you do and you'll get an in-game fruit basket when it goes open Beta.
