Got a few side-quests done tonight in Dust: An Elysian Tail! Currently sitting at 62% completion! I played for a couple hours on Steam Deck and only managed to use 40% of the battery!

Geehan thanking Dust for retrieving his pocket watch.
Scored a triple star in the 2nd trial!

If you listened to the recent Good Omens serial, adaptated and sound-designed by Dirk Maggs from the book by Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett, then you'll likely enjoy this discussion between old friends and collaborators, Dirk and Neil on the topic. It took place right before the recording.

Good Omens ('90) is a comedy about the coming end-times when Satan sends his son to Earth to precipitate Armageddon. Things don't go according to plan and angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley who were never keen are left to sort things out. Authors Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman are the police.

advice please (with kindness).

Just had my son diagnosed. I lied and said we were getting further advice about his dyslexic strengths and weaknesses. Because I didn't want to tell him unless we were sure as being an adolescent is hard enough.

What's a really good resource that I can use to help explain what it means?

I wish I could return to a time when video games didn't feel like chores. Looking at most of the games on my computer, and they are all live-service games which take up too much of my time.

I need to quit starting games that don’t have a defined beginning, middle, and end.

Maybe I will take August off from video games which are ongoing services.

A short thread about books, me, and a micro-book review. To start with, in a world of “a-holics.” I am, among other addictions, a page-a-holic. Therefore, I read (predominantly) short books. Once I start, it’s difficult (as in, makes me incredibly agitated and impossible to live with) for me to put a book down until it is done. This is not a nerdy sort of bragging, it’s more a confession, of sorts, as to why today, instead of doing the things, I read a book. 1/

Podcast streaming to Raspberry Pi

@selfhosted

I'm planning on setting up a music streamer. I'll be throwing headless to play my music library and I'll probably use as the base image to get me bluetooth, airplay and a few other bits. Does anyone know how I can integrate podcasts into the platform? I was thinking of setting up an server and clients on my mobile devices but I'm not sure how to stream a podcast to the pi so that it keeps track of my position across all my devices.

Just bought on PC. £13. Not bad at all!

About time I replayed this game! I think I'll take my time with it more so than I did on my first playthrough!
