Hi all. Due to the news of the illegal images being hosted on lemmy, I shut down my instance. I read some comments from people stating that they were able to selfhost lemmy without pictrs, they just can’t upload or cache photos. I think this is what I am interested in doing at this time....

With jitsi meet now requireing registration (something I do understand, … but I just happen not to have a google, MS or meta account), I am looking at selfhosting a jitsi meet for personal use....

I have a .ch domain name, but I am not a resident, citizen, or business of Switzerland. For now, this is not a problem, but it’s always possible that the rules change and I am ineligible to renew it down the line....
