Using another VPN on top of my VPN?
My question is fairly straightforward: I’ve got wireguard set up on my home network, and I’m really happy with it, but I also got a paid VPN service as well for privacy reasons....

I’m using protonvpn setup in my router for all outgoing traffic. Works great but I can’t find anything about opening a port in the vpn without using the app which I can’t do because it’s setup in my router. This is preventing me from using my incoming VPN to connect to my network when I’m away from home.

I followed this guide to set up a Matrix server on my Pi. The only hiccup I ran into during setup was under “Setting up Synapse server,” step 11, the “Registration” section wasn’t present in homeserver.yaml. This server is meant to just run bridges to WhatsApp/Facebook/etc. so I wasn’t too worried, and forged ahead....
