Hi all,...
I currently have a Raspberry Pi (with DAC) in my room attached to an amp and speakers, with Moode Audio installed on it, and it’s perfect, been using it for many years. I can use plenty of MPD clients, or go through the web gui, and the sound outputs from the Pi itself....
Okay so im planning to buy a new m2 ssd for my elitedesk. I got a 256 gb m2 ssd today but it’s starting to fill up....
Hello, I really need some help accessing my app via cloudfared tunnel. The app is installed on an AWS EC2 Debian machine. I can successfully hit the page using www.cloudflare.com/ips/onfigured via inbound security rules. I can also successfully setup the cloudflare tunnel and access it via that tunnel and my personal domain and...
Is there already something like this? I’m using Duplicati and a cloud storage provider to back up all my docker configs. It encrypts everything before uploading....
I’m reading up on self-hosting Lemmy, and I was planning on creating my own private instance for individual use on some spare Azure ASP I use to host private FreshRSS (not rich to host a public service)....
About three weeks ago, I started my own Lemmy instance. It’s been running great, but theres something that keeps pulling me back to my account on one of the large instances....
I’ve used wireguard for a pretty long time on my server and the phone as a client. I’ve had the same configuration for at least 4-5 years and never had issues. Last week I moved to using pihole in a container with a macvlan interface, so it has a different IP address than my physical server. Then I went and changed the DNS...
I’ve used filthis.com for years to automatically grab PDFs for credit card bills, mortgage statements, bank statements, and utility bills. It’s taken a lot of the headache out of archiving financial records....
Hi all, looking for my next major project/frustration. I’ve been forcing myself to learn the new AI tools and I think I’m ready for the next step. I’m familiar with image generation and I dabbled in a bit of chat bot stuff, but I think I’m ready....
Hello everyone,...
Hi guys!...
EDIT...
I’m just trying out Immich and I’m really impressed, seems to be exactly what I’m looking for except for one thing. I am looking for something that is a central library for my family so we can all access the same photos and all upload to the same place....
What are you using to keep informed of new software versions? Most of what I’m looking to track is open source and on GitHub but some isn’t. Getting alerts via Google chat or slack or email would be cool....
Hi All. I have been running my own lemmy instance for a while now. I set it up sort of as an experiment, and then I realized that I liked having my own instance, as it makes me (mostly) immune to outages due to things outside my control, defederation drama, etc. So I decided that I am going to stick with having my own instance....
Hey guys, it’s me, Bizzle. I’m a tech hobbyist, but I think I’m a little out of my element here and I’m hoping you can help....
Maybe using Syncthing or MPD? I’m searching something to keep/share my votes or even maybe listen counts for desktop and mobile. Also it would be nice to create a backup for these data.
Hi,...
Hey all,...
I wonder if there is a nptocable difference between a HDD and SSD. Did someone already test it? I run it off a good SSD but wonder if a HDD would be enough.
What would you recommend?
Technically this isn’t actually a seafile issue, however the upload client really should have the ability to run checksums to compare the original file to the file that is being synced to the server (or other device)....
Tried some times to get a home server up and running but never followed it through, last week got some time, grabbed my new rasberry pi 5 8GB (it’s a f*cking beast) and came up with this setup....
I think i have a stupid question but i couldn’t find answer to it so far :( When i want to reach a service that i host on my own server at home from the local network at home, is using a public domain effective way to do it or should i always use server’s IP when configuring something inside LAN? Is my traffic routed through...
