Hi guys, I have been using a Raspberry Pi with Retropie for my emulation for ages. It’s used for games up to PS1 and it’s fine, but I wanted to upgrade my emulation to play games up to PS3/360. For that I think I need to use a PC right? What’s the recommended spec for that use case?...
I just hit 10 hours in Earthbound on my Anbernic RG280V. I’m looking forward to trying some more SNES games once I’m finished (Super Mario World, Street Fighter Turbo II, Zelda: Link to the Past, etc.)....
I have the original Gran Turismo and Colin McRae Rally 2.0 for PS1 on disc, playing on a PS2 slim and PS3. On both, I can steer with the D-pad but not with the analog stick, even though both games advertise analog controls on the box....
Hi, I’m looking for info on the compatibility of the “Gold Cartridge” with regards to the Master System. I was looking at one of these and it says on the box that it’s made for the Mark III and Master System. However, the form factor is different than other Master System cartridges, and it’s also nothing like a Sega...
Im looking for a flashcard for my '89 Gameboy and stumbled upon the Everdrive-GB cartridges. The x3 is about 20 bucks cheaper than the x5. What am I missing out on if I get the cheaper one? Only thing I wanna do is to play a few homebrew gameboy games.
I just picked up Gauntlet for nes and when I load into room 1 I’m greeted with glitched walls misplaced everywhere which let’s me walk through some. and there’s random items I can’t pick up which means I’m unable to continue in the game past room 1
At some point, I don’t know when, Mupen64 Pro FZ stopped launching games on my Retroid Pocket 3+. I have the paid version from the play store, and my N64 games are stored as zip files. I haven’t messed with any settings (I think) and it used to work fine, so I’m a bit baffled....
The more rare, obscure, or just a guilty pleasure, the better. Maybe you grew up with it, maybe it’s just the nostalgia talking, any reason is fine....
Hardly retro hardware but now with the new version coming out it’s definitely obsolete. Even so I’m still lovin my rp2+. Even my RP3+ hasn’t been able to replace it....

He will carry out his plans by making various decisions. He will build his army and send it into battles, weave intrigues and deceptions, create secret spy networks and...
So this is a thought I had the other day. Do you think for longevity / preservation it is best to leave consoles connected to power or leave them unplugged, ignoring something like a power surge?
I should love this game… I’ve been trying for years to get in to it, keep thinking it will get better just round the corner but… It’s so damn tedious!...
Just curious. A buddy of mine said he had a lot of lag, and some user reviews have said the same thing. But others have said it works great. I personally haven’t tried it.
After a bit of searching and help, I found out how to use my 8BitDo Ultimate Pro Bluetooth/2.4Ghz controller in 2.4GHz mode in the Switch mode, including with full gyro support. Note: there are two firmware versions, one for the controller and one for the receiver. This is only possible with a specific version of the receiver...
I’m mostly thinking about 8 bit games, and NES in particular, but it was a thing that continued at least into the 16-bit consoles. There were a lot of games that come to mind that did the perspective shift, sometimes blending genres in the process. Stuff like:...
