Made my last stop on Reddit today (dubvee.org)
Thanks to everyone who suggested editing the comments before deleting them, but I decided to just go through the last 3 years of comments and edit them instead (yay, macros)....
There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.
Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

I took part in the Reddit blackout a month ago, and accessed Reddit through Apollo. After the blackout I looked at Reddit a handful of times and then let my association with Reddit die with Apollo....
Totally not suspicious timing at all....
Anyone know why sh.reddit.com exists? Is it something they plan to use in future? ATM, it just looks justlike reddit.com with a few small style differences.
Exactly what the title says. I used to look at Reddit and spend 2+ hours minimum every single day, more on the weekends. Once the API changes were announced and the protest date hit, I decided I would stop using it regardless of what happened moving forward....
There’s been a few people who commented this in the past, but as an advertiser on Reddit, I want to share the numbers I see....
Just thought it was funny that looking back I’ve used Reddit for over 10 years and I never actually paid them a dime. I feel really good about donating so much money monthly here, though, because I have so much hope for this place and a brighter future for us all in the fediverse. It appears API rate limiting has effectively killed these alternatives. You essentially get nothing but “Too many requests” 429 errors....
