Does Mach speed change depending on the altitude?

Since the speed of sound depends on the air, which changes at different altitudes, are “Mach” speeds dependent on the altitude? Or is it basically just like 100 °C is the same even at altitudes where water boils at a lower temperature (in that it is a fixed speed based on the speed of sound at sea level)?

I’m not experienced with horses. I know many are trained to work for just about anyone. They were used in wars and police still use horses this day and age for crowd control, so I guess they can stomach a bit of violence and chaos. When characters in a cartoon speak a different language do they get someone else to do the line or does the voice actor learn the line on their own?

I could see the voice actor learning a sentence or two but on occasion the bit goes on for a couple minutes. I feel like with a cartoon it wouldn’t be that hard to find a stand in who sounds close enough or use whoever does the dubbing for that language.

To those with English as a second language: are people actively being taught that a short A should be pronounced as a short E?

Just wondering because I hear a lot of non-native speakers say things like “bend” instead of “band” and I find it a bit puzzling since native speakers don’t say it that way (except in New Zealand and maybe London I suppose? Not sure) and many languages have the usual A-sound that I and many others use...

Creating a torrent that includes all of humanity's knowledge/art/entertainment?

I know we can’t do this with any copyrighted materials. But a lot of books, music, art, knowledge is in the creative commons. Is it possible to create one massive torrent that includes all that can be legally included and then have people only download what they actually want to enjoy?
