A U.K. Researcher Has Unearthed the Original 19th-Century Photo Featured on an Iconic Led Zeppelin Album Cover

The image was found in an album of photographs taken by Ernest Howard Farmer. … The man Farmer photographed has also been identified as Lot Long (1823–93), who was a widower residing in a small cottage in Shaftesbury Road, Mere, when the image was taken.

I see what you did there

Ejh3k ,

I always understood that the bundle had to be loosely bound.

That’s a giant 19th century [redacted] on that dudes back.

Does it still need to be redacted when you are using it in an entirely proper and unmalicious way?

TheRealLinga ,

Apparently so! We can’t hurt the gay bundle of sticks feelings. The F word might be too harsh. Please be open minded and inclusive!

TransplantedSconie ,

Meh. It’s an outdated word anyway that, like some innocent things, gets perverted into something malicious by assholes.

I find it funny written out this way because people immediately lose their shit about not using it, lol.
