Honestly, between him sounding totally unhinged and just repeating every single lie he’s made already, it’s not that hard to sit through. She sounds competent. He sounds like angry old man yelling at cloud.
I checked in long enough to hear him ranting, hear a competent response from her, and figured it was better for my sanity to assume the rest would be the same and that she could handle it well enough.
My spouse was looking into it and apparently it stems from an American citizen who did something to their own dog. So they are trying to spin some crazy citizen as being done by the people he uses to rile up the racist voters.
Trump on immigration: “People don’t leave my rallies. They don’t go to her rallies. Also, WWIII is going to happen because immigrants, but the towns are too embarrassed to talk about it, but black people are eating dogs. People go to my rallies because they want to Make America Great Again which is a great phrase. She is destroying this country, it will be Venezuela on steroids.”
Furthermore: “I fired most of the people I hired because they did a bad job. Biden didn’t fire anyone because of Afghanistan and people died and I got to know their family. They should have fired all the generals! I fire people who are bad at their jobs. Those people write books about me, but no one else can write books. They didn’t fire the economists, look at the inflation. And just to finish- I got more votes than any Republican by far.”
