Sure wish the massive corporate incompetence and malfeasance causing huge data leaks multiple times over the years would get mentioned every time one of these stories comes up.

We need to start redirecting some of those board bonuses and CEO dollars back into infrastructure to actually secure this shit as a required responsibility and stop places from being allowed to request personal information they shouldn’t have.

It’s my pet theory that kids these days have so many gadgets and doo-dads to entertain them that they are hardly ever really bored. Many more kids have access to their own mobile phone (probably even with Internet access) now than in 2000. Combine that with the game consoles and other devices, and it’s no longer necessary to go hang out on a street corner to interact with each other.
Most kids who got in trouble back then got in trouble because they all hung out in a group, being bored together, and gave in to the worst idea that one of them had. It’s a lot harder to get in that type of trouble when they are all talking to each other in a group chat from their bedrooms, or while playing a video game.
Pump the brakes on that excitement. I don’t know how old you are, but let me tell or remind you that voters were this excited in 2016 too, and spoiler alert, he won.
Harris does not have that big of a lead. Let’s get excited after she actually wins.

There is no decision to make. Ranting about things that make him angry is the only mode Trump has. There is no depth to his character, no contemplative side that asks the big questions. He’s a dog barking at the cars passing by his window. That’s all he’s capable of being.
You do know the Vice President has little actual power, right? Pretty much the only power they can exercise on their own behalf (rather than being delegated by the president) is the tiebreaking vote in the Senate.
