Samsies. But then again, I don’t think normal people (our founders included) ever expected a willful collusion by a party to stack those branches of government in their favor.
The founders didn’t intend for the SCOTUS to be an equal branch of government. They just kinda started doing constitutional review, and multiple founders were explicit about how that’s not what they intended.

I often worry that citizens check the content and consequences of legislation before voting even less than social media users check the content and context of articles before commenting. Put a “protect the kids” title on it, and you almost get a free pass for whatever nonsense you’re pushing, regardless of how harmful it might be.
To be fair, in the US you don’t vote on bills, you just elect representatives. The names are only there to manipulate people into agreeing so they don’t call up their representatives to complain.
The problem is for people entering USA by cars, millions of canadians per year! A lot with their dogs, going camping and all. I go in the state maybe once or twice per month, I will need to fill a CDC report every time? It does not make sense.
