I’ve had long COVID for a while now, and I wonder how many people are affected by it without realizing it, and just pass it off as exhaustion / trouble sleeping?
This isn’t intentional. Florida’s politicians want an educated, wealthy population and to fight a meaningless culture war with Disney and young people (to keep Boomers happy).
They are too dumb to see they can’t have their cake and eat it too! This will be one expensive culture war.
Quality universities create quality employees and quality (tax paying) companies. By the end of the decade, and the region will stagnate and you’ll see a “new” Republican going full panic mode to fix the damage (while somehow blaming it on Democrats).
In short: There is NO plan. They’re just THAT shortsighted! (Everything you see can be, once again, explained by simple Boomer overindulgence)
Once upon a time he did seem to be okay (as far as billionaires can be).
Musk almost seemed philanthropic with his ventures of bringing forward the future with SpaceX and Tesla. Then almost suddenly he started to be vocal about certain politics and various bad practices came to light in how he behaved or treat his workforce.
In fact, it’s only until relatively recently it seems where the ultra wealthy seemed to be quite under the radar. Bezos, for example. Before and during his divorce you never really heard much about him. He seemed pretty likable in many ways. Then suddenly that changed, the media perception shifted and these people started getting lots of publicity and they were clearly unable to curate their image any longer.
Yeah, same old. The religion of peace(that worships a warlord)(that still hasn’t had a reformation)(that is responsible for Al Qaeda, Taliban, and ISIS) is just being peaceful again.
Uh... I'll have to point out the Irish potsto famine (if you're Christian) and literally every communist regime out there (if you're atheist). But, more importantly, Islam never actually claims to be a religion of peace. Islam emphasizes fighting back against injustice (not saying that's what ISIS and crew are doing) and discourages turning the other cheek. So... Yeah, get your islamophobia right.
Islam never claims to be a religion of peace… Except for the legions of real life muslims that insist on that very exact same thing, so much so as to have it on banners during protests.
