Reminder that the ukrainian tryzub is fascist [2] symbolism.

qevlarr ,
@qevlarr@lemmy.world avatar

What are you talking about? It’s the coat of arms. It’s a symbol since 1918, when fascism didn’t even exist yet. Some nationalistic fascist organization using national symbols isn’t news, and it doesn’t mean fascists exclusively own it en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_Ukraine

Edit: oh sorry everyone, didn’t see it was a lemmy.ml user. Block and move on 🤷‍♂️

Symbols have more than one meaning… The word “fascism” comes from one of these symbols: the Fasces. However the fasces are still used by France:

Or by the US:

Are these countries fascists just because they use the Fasces? Of course not. They have other meanings. It’s the same with this Ukrainian symbol.

I heard they’re gonna remove schools because kids show up to them not knowing anything.

Yeah I wish Vivaldi wasn’t Chromium-based, because I love all the bells and whistles of Vivaldi so much. But like, at the end of the day it’s still partly contributing to the Chromium dominance of the web, so I still have to default to Firefox as my primary.

asexualchangeling ,

100% Vivaldi is my favorite browser, I only use it as backup though because I’m not using Chromium if I can help it

I myself like Gnome’s Epiphany browser. Yeah it’s not perfect, but at least it works and granted the performance is getting somewhere. Also, I think its based on Apple’s Webkit, but I couldn’t be more far off.

Is the Italian place a lamp store?

Rooskie91 , in Zen Z

Sounds like divisive bullshit.

After all the millennial horseshit we had to hear in the 2010’s and we’re just gonna turn around and do the same shit, huh?

kat_angstrom , in haha! non attachment is so fun! you are replying to a void, circlejerkers

Pffft, I’ve never even jerked a single circle in my life.

Now, oblate spheroids on the other hand…

Fun fact: SFC is short for “Super FamiCom”, a tribute to the last piece of home consumer electronics ever made that just worked without having to fuss with it.

When I worked data entry, there was a chart for cursive as people couldn’t understand cursive writing, and these were adults. I think this may check out (not because they’re lacking, but because they probably weren’t taught).
