The most commonly used A-series light bulb type is an A60 bulb (or its inch-based equivalent, the A19 bulb, which is 60 mm (19⁄8 in or 2+3⁄8 in) wide at its widest point
A circumference of 7.4 inches is larger than most people can put in their mouth without teeth contact
Hopefully it’s a decent protection plan and not a “pay for another phone in monthly payments then have to pay $150 deductible if you actually break your phone” kind of plan.
I have a watch that uses MM/DD for date, which pissed me off to no end. While looking for a way to change it to DD/MM, I found out that they actually used ISO-8601 and dropped the year. Now I don't know how to feel about it.
ISO 8601 has spec for how to drop the year. You write it like –MM-DD (two dashes to indicate omission). Of course nobody really uses it beside the absolute nerds (e.g. me).
Counterpoint: it’s a fun game with a memorable tagline and people are just having fun repeating this tagline to each other instead of thinking of the setting’s depressing implications.
To be clear, I do agree with all of this. Deep Rock Galactic is a very shitty company. It’s just that the people who play the game might already realize that.
Every game has some fairly deep political undertones. That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the game, but it remains. Have you ever actually thought about the political implications from a call of duty campaign? It’s intensely political. But that doesn’t stop it from being the best selling fps every year.
That’s exactly what I’m saying. Just because people are having fun calling out the tagline (or other memorable aspect) of a game doesn’t necessarily mean they haven’t grasped the game’s political undertones. That’s why it’s a bit unfair to assume the politics just flew over their heads just because they’re not spending 24/7 talking about nothing but the politics of the game. People are allowed to have fun sometimes too lol.
The example with Call of Duty is especially apt though, with the fans of that franchise blatantly lying to themselves about whether or not it’s a “political game”. Even the devs are getting in on it. There’s a video I watched once that goes into detail about Infinity Ward promoting the false image of their games being “unpolitical”. It’s a great video, I’d recommend giving it a watch.
and 99.90% of the children playing cod completely miss every political point it makes lol the campaign achievements for the first mission show that I’ve half the game owners never even launch the campaign
It’s obviously all satire, the game is not some capitalist propaganda. In fact quite the opposite, with how ridiculously obvious the terribleness of the mining company is, it is purposefully dialed up to 11.
DRG is obviously a shitty company, but some voiclines say that they really enjoy the work and all they would donis mine for minerals anyway, or start their own mining company. Is that better? A expedition on hoxxes lead by some raging alcoholics? Dwarfs are expert miners and great at killing bugs, but actually leading expedition? Just look at the overclocks they are unknowingly install.
I have one almost exactly like that (different brand, but looks exactly the same besides that). Would anyone know how to recover data from it (some text files, and potentially some recordings made with the built-in microphone)? Whenever I plug it into a computer the loading screen comes up on the player but nothing happens (computer can’t mount it), and turning it on also just gets me to the loading screen where it stays without moving forward.
I don’t think it even gets assigned a file in /dev.

This is all that dmesg displays when I connect it to my computer.
Try Ghost of Tsushima or other great games but only short ones, avoid no man sky for now or other long games. Let it rest for a while and come back to it later.
