I’ve used a couple different distros in my time on Linux (Debian, fedora, arch, artix, gentoo) and I could never tell the difference between the performance.

Sparse for the (two decade old) i915 driver is fine if you only need x86-64 support which would probably be most of us. Intel kinda backed itself into a smelly corner with its consumer GPU card debut. A year in and it’s still quite a mess.

I love to use cachyos for gaming because it is based on arch linux which is light, it is not a bloated distro and because of the BORE enhanced kernel which boosts performance.

On a similar note, has anyone tried the Audeze Maxwell on Linux? It has both 2.4ghz and I believe BT LC3 audio support, which Pipewire is starting to support too (although most people won’t have a BT adapter that supports it).

I tried running it with steamtinkerlaunch wich does open fenix.exe but it seems to crash as it immediately exits when i choose to run only custom command. The log of stl is of no help either

I have the Nova Pro Wireless, not the 7’s, but they have the 2.4GHz dongle as well and I’ve had no trouble getting them to work in Linux. The Steelseries GG software I have not had luck getting to work through wine.

how are you installing it? I’ve never heard of this game and I’m honestly pretty new to Linux, but I’ve had nothing but smooth sailing adding old windows games to steam as non-steam games, then using proton to launch them.

I install it into Lutris and then try out different runners (Wine and Proton) to launch it with.
