I need a very simple method for non-advanced users to share each other’s screen explicitly when they need help. They’re running XFCE on Manjaro and the machines involved are using Tailscale. Edit: SSH access is also available, with key authentication....
[EDIT]: Audacious does this, but Audacious doesn’t view the file as a playlist rather as one file, I wish this could be changed, I don’t know it might be. [\EDIT]...
I want to run certain applications that are Windows only, and I wanted to know if there is any sand boxing as most of the programs that are Windows only tend to be invasive. I know VMs are another option but there is usually a performance toll with that and I am running a low to mid range laptop

I’m looking to finally use Linux properly and I’m planning to dual boot my laptop. There’s enough storage to go around, and while I’m comfortable messing around I’d rather not have to run and buy a new device before school while fixing my current one....
I’ve noticed in the Linux community whenever someone asks for a recommendation on a laptop that runs Linux the answer is always “Get a Thinkpad” yet Lenovo doesn’t seem to be a big Linux contributor or ally. There’s also at least six Linux/FOSS-oriented computer manufacturers now:...

I know Linux is all about being in control, and users should not be afraid to use the command line, but if you have to learn another bespoke command syntax...
I’ve tinkered with Linux installations before but the last time I made changes to a BIOS it looked 8-bit, not like a windows program (I use Macs, for reference)....
I know I can use Google’s voice typing in Google Docs but is there a more convenient, system-wide options available?

Thought this would be dead simple to find on google, but NOPE! Is it even possible? I’ve been trying different searches for over half an hour now.
I’ve seen people talking about it and experienced it myself with a server, but why does Linux run so well on ARM (especially compared to Windows)?
Linux Noob here...
Hello folks, is there a tool in Linux to track how much current the battery is pulling during charging? In Android there is Ampere that does this, and I’m looking for something similar. This nicely shows for example that my Android device is charging the battery with 1.5A right now.
