I use the MX Linux distribution (Debian-based) as my dual-boot. Recently, I’ve started building a new PC, the crux of which will be a Radeon RX 7900xtx GPU. Since it showed up before everything else, I crammed it into my current PC to replace a GTX970 to test and play around....

I just did an apt update followed by an apt upgrade, and during the latter the screen went all blank with a blinking prompt. I also hear the fans. It’s been like this for 10 min now. i find it very useful and would like to know if there is an implementation for it on xfce, as well as how it performs.

All other posts in other subreddits by me are also got removed.Voidlinux does not have a forum apart from this www.reddit.com/r/voidlinux/. So I thought It wought be nice to have an alternative.

I’ll put the exact files in GitHub later. I use Kitty with the Gruvbox theme and some custom fonts, lots of bold. Kitty is awesome cause it comes with a TON of theme pre-loaded....

I bought a new ssd that is way faster and larger than my current one. What is the best way to transfer everything from my old drive to my new one. Currently running Fedora 38, fine with the command line. If nothing else I will just do a clean install on the new drive and copy over what I need from /home on the old drive.
