Been playing Smash Bros Ultimate on Switch. On the PC side of things, GOG has a YUGE sale and I bought whole a lot of old games: Tomb Raider Underworld, Pandemonium 2, Lords of The Fallen, Runaway, Disney’s Hercules and a lot more. I played Pandemonium on PC as a kid but never touched the sequel. As a kid Disney’s Hercules movie was my favorite and my siblings told how I was obsessed about it, and I played the game a little bit back then. Lords of the Fallen seems to be a Dark Souls clone but with a smaller budget.
Yeah, but recently PS+ subscriptions only get a around 20% discount on Black Friday, and Sony is hiking the price up by now than 30, so it’s more than likely that the discounted price is still going to be higher than the full price now…
Question: If I were to buy a PS Plus Essential subscription code for 12 months, how would I be changing that to premium? Would I be charged after putting my code in? Do I now have two different dates on when Premium ends and when essential ends?
It’s a move to test water then, since most people that are long term subscriber usually stack up during sales. I think they are testing how well it might work with their new offers and banking on people forgot to stop renew.
It really sucks cause essential pretty much no longer justified for their pricing at this point. Guess I have to try setup some sort of back up routine for my old save files on the PS cloud before I cancel my subscription.
I’m playing Palia. It’s a cozy single/multiplayer survival-ish game. I love that it has very low friction. So far I’m having a great time playing while I listen to podcasts or YouTube
Well, they did the base game and the first two expansions so I'm glad they're doing this one. Though it is a bit surprising to see a 3rd expansion since I thought they were moving onto other things.
Maybe Farthest Frontier didn't sell as well as they hoped?
Oh that’s surprising, sad to hear. But at least, as others wrote for understandable reasons. I loved shadow tactics. It felt like such an alive little world and had a surprisingly enjoyable story and good characters. And then Desperados 3 continued to deliver on that. Hope the people find good positions elsewhere or manage to build something on their own.
Eh, kinda. They are revamping lots of stuff but more importantly they will add a “veteran” mode to Ultimate, so the story content becomes as hard as shattered realm, for people that prefer to do skeleton key dungeons or jsut campaign content to farm instead of shattered realms.
Also a new class focused on cold/bleed, dw and a chaos transmutter.
Gpi case 2 would be a cheaper purchase. Only lacking a joystick and two other buttons, which really only os helpful for psx games which run okay at best on cm4 hardware.
I just hate that parts have to be unlocked in the shop. With the limited mission choice I never want to buy anything, because what if I need the money to buy something I like more after the next mission? Feels like false choice
