I always wanted to try their lunch offerings, but I’m usually there just to shop for food. The wife and I decided to give it a try, and ooooooooo boy, was that a good choice....
Good effort by Robe Seafood and Takeaway. Crispy and light batter, excellent chips. Just the thing on a long, solo road trip.
Filling is, Ground beef, White onion, Mushroom, Jalapeños, Cajun seasoning, Shredded Cheddar
Didn’t have any stock around, so I improvised with a combination of port, malt flakes and fish sauce. Which made it very red and delicious!
If this isn’t supposed to be here, feel free to delete. I’ve never tasted this, but it looks so good. It came across my youtbe feed. A search for ufo korea gives a lot of videos on how to make it at home which I’m going to try.
Roast beef & cheddar with onion, homegrown arugula, and horseradish on homemade rye sourdough with olives. Potato chips are my junk food downfall. Iced water (not shown) to drink with this....

Made it with my own vegetable broth as well. It turned out great, would definitely make this again. Just didn’t have cilantro and missed that.

Bit weird but my SO loves chicken soup, so I figured I’ll make them one with a tonkotsu broth....
Pasta made by hand and rosé sauce made from scratch with peppers and sausage.

Store-bought almond pastry. A drizzle of juice from “Fabbri” brand of Italian jarred cherries. A couple/few of the cherries themselves. A tea-spoon of Lindt dark chocolate spread. Roasted pistachios. 👀
