my parents stopped down to visit recently and brought me some fresh veggies from their garden so I made a few things, one of which was borscht....
Today in Battleford, Saskatchewan, we had a street festival and at this event were several food trucks. We got Bao buns and spring rolls from one. The Bao on the left is a brisket filled one and the one on the right is pork belly… Wow, so good. Plus the weather was great for mid September here it was 28*C
Chinese style BBQ pork on sauteed onions, spicy stir fry broccoli, white rice.
I made cheesy cauliflower balls today and they were great. Especially enjoyed the bottom of them because as they baked the cheese got crispy on the baking sheet. Used the food processor to break down the cauliflower and cheese, a real time saver. Added bacon to theses, chefs kiss to that haha....
Strawberry and vanilla flavour
Rice, burger patty, over medium egg (my preference), mushroom gravy, crispy onion straws and micro greens.
On the road and wanted something other than chain food. Came across a little place making jerked food....

Got some herb meunster bread from the local bakery and dressed it up a bit. Served with a peach mimosa for the perfect brunch for dinner vibe
