Made over the weekend for a Christmas party.
It is summer here in Australia and it’s quite common to do this type of food at this time of year. What we refer to as a barbecue is what many would call a grill. And no, we don’t call them shrimp. Whatever you choose to call them, it was all delicious....
My first. 10 lbs, bone in. Cooked at 175 for 6 hours until temp hit 128. Out of the oven for a rest with a light foil tent for 45 mins. Internal temp rose to 133.5 during the rest. Back in to oven on air fryer at 500 degrees for 6 mins. Exterior was blistered and delicious. Medium rare and just right. Served with homemade...

Bottom left - Tasting plate with, Focaccia with smoked black garlic vinegar butter. Golden chicken rib gochujang. Beef brisket croquette with chili mayo. Marinated olives. Kingfish crudos with horseradish, apple pickle and finger lime....

Good effort by Robe Seafood and Takeaway. Crispy and light batter, excellent chips. Just the thing on a long, solo road trip.

I always wanted to try their lunch offerings, but I’m usually there just to shop for food. The wife and I decided to give it a try, and ooooooooo boy, was that a good choice....
Filling is, Ground beef, White onion, Mushroom, Jalapeños, Cajun seasoning, Shredded Cheddar
Didn’t have any stock around, so I improvised with a combination of port, malt flakes and fish sauce. Which made it very red and delicious!
Roast beef & cheddar with onion, homegrown arugula, and horseradish on homemade rye sourdough with olives. Potato chips are my junk food downfall. Iced water (not shown) to drink with this....
