I recently finished the episode of The Verge’s podcast #Decoder with the interview to Bluesky’s CEO and it seems a quite interesting project. At the beginning I wasn’t looking really into it because of their choice of using a new protocol instead of the existing ActivityPub, but after listening to her and the reasons...

Next to Mastodon.world and Lemmy.world I am also running Calckey.world. This was running Calckey, a Misskey fork. That was re-branded to FireFish (that’s the danger of running sites with the software name in the URL… :-) )....

Sometimes I like to browse Mastodon just to see what’s going on, especially when breaking news is happening (similar to how twitter used to be useful for). I don’t have any interest in posting or commenting or boosting or anything, I just want to browse. I’m currently just using mastodon.social as a PWA and it works ok I...

I’m resuming my work on Fediverser, and I need as much help as I can get to build the Recommended community map. This crowdsourced data will be one the key points for instance admins that want to make use of the Fediverser services, and it will help immensely for people who want to migrate away from Reddit....
