I used to downvote fairly often on Reddit as a sign to disagree or to push down really disgusting bigoted comments. And to be honest, it became a habit to just downvote without replying. However, now that I’m on lemmy and not Reddit I’ve been actively trying to not instantly downvote things and instead move on or take the...
Looking expectantly at the glass, mopping perspiration from my brow, licking my lips? A hard, grinning stare directly at the server? Eyes downcast, my hands lying dejectedly in my lap?
Any info about it?
Hello! I’m a Reddit refugee, and use to frequent the step parenting subreddit for support/tips etc. I can’t seem to find a community on lemmy though. Does anything like that exist? TIA!
Either my searching is wrong, or there’s a weird sub name out there….but I find it perplexing that us nerds haven’t made a big gaming sub yet?...
I’m looking for recommendations for app based/nice mobile friendly sites (free ideally, but I’d consider subscription) that can help me keep across news in the tech/UX/design space....
Is there a modern lemmy web ui option out there? lemmy.world and all the other instances I know use a lightweight, basic UI which has its benifits and gives a bit of an old reddit feel....

For me, it’s sticking my hand out of the window of a moving car. Whether I’m driving or not, I love having the windows down and waving my hand in the wind. I’ve loved it since I was a child and I’ll never stop doing it!
I still use Font Renamer to manage my font collection. It works great but hasn’t received an update since 2008. Even the website looks straight out of the Windows XP era.

The arguments I’ve heard about tracking etc are misguided and don’t understand the actual risks....
Just got interested in what the age breakdown is on here....
Let’s get the AMAs kicked off on Lemmy, shall we....
I’ve been using wefwef WebApps to browse the fediverse and am curious to understand how it works. I do not have knowledge deep knowledge about coding or programming.
