I almost always read in the news/press that dentists recommend to brush teeth two times a day for 2-3 minutes....

like I went to taco bell and they didn’t even have napkins out. they had the other stuff just no napkins, I assume because some fucking ghoul noticed people liked taking them for their cars so now we just don’t get napkins! so they can save $100 per quarter rather than provide the barest minimum quality of life features.

This question will require some explaining, so bear with me (I phrased it how I did because I wanted to emphasize one of the connections). I ask this here because economics seem to be a huge topic here, especially when it comes to certain schools of thought (not that I’m judging, you have your reasons)....

Ive tried uploading multiple pictures I’ve taken with my phone’s camera and havent been able to upload them to multiple different instances. Are they too large a file or too high res to upload? Really wanted to share pics to some of the smaller craft instances, but so far I’ve been limited to posting memes since I cant...

So at the beginning of summer I repurposed an old Android phone into a dedicated emulator. The phone’s old enough it has an honest to god user replaceable battery so I decided to get another one and keep it in my backpack to double my gaming time....

have any niche lemmings taken off in the 6 months since the API scandal?

I want to see a list for each popular server (e.g. the top 10 lemmy instances) and I want to see - for each instance - with whom they federate. How can I do this? Any sure-fire way to know if a instance like HexBear.net is being federated with lemmy.world? How do you know?

tbh I’d use digital like piracy and music streaming or yt odysee peertube...

Capitalism is criticized a lot on here (especially by American users, it seems to me). Most of that seems well-founded, but I also have the feeling that most of these complaints are simply venting and not the first step to improvement....
