I’ve tried a lot of the launchers I see talked about frequently- Nova, Niagra, Smart Launcher, Action Launcher, etc. but they all seem to not be worth the hassle of switching away from pixel launcher. Also none of them have the Google News feed that the pixel launcher has. I feel like I’m losing features when I switch....

Google appears to have quietly rolled out a feature to the Play Store that allows users to remotely uninstall apps from other devices.

It looks like a very well built app to convert web pages to lite apps. It also seems to be based on Firefox and seems to include something similar to that of Firefox Multiaccount Containers for every webapp, on top of an adblocker. Seems very neat. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about whether or not it is open source...

Hi everyone. You can easily add a website shortcut to the home screen through a browser (“add to home screen”). However, if I change browser or if I need to clear the browser data, these links disappear. Maybe I’m using too unstable of a browser, but I’m tired of having to recreate my shortcuts....

I would like to know if there is something like iPhone “True Tone” or Samsung “Adaptive Color Tone” in AOSP or if there are alternatives to install....

What is exactly Google Play System Update buried deep in the settings that can be manually updated and usually has a date of say, eg, May 1. Is it part of Project Treble from Google to decouple parts of OS from full system upgrades and make more Modular updates possible?

So I’ve been messing around with a few phones lately, a nexus 6p, a pixel 3a xl, and a s21 ultra, and I’ve noticed that on the 6p and 3a xl both sound louder, punchier, and clearer when compared to the s21 ultra. I’m searching an android app to mark the locations of multiple parked cars. It should be possible to mark different cars somehow to identify them. It would also be cool if there is a feature to share the location with someone on another devica (like a sync between users, NOT copy of coordinates or link on maps...

Got to agree with the conclusion of the review, while this seems like a decent offering (and I personally like the “retro” look), for Є400, you might as well get a A55 with a much better screen and probably longer security support (Android OS updates aren’t that important these days).
