My dreams used to be much more vibrant and mysterious when I was A) younger and B) regularly used psychedelics. I would dream of blowing along with petals in the wind through Japanese landscapes, or huge Mayan temples looming out in the mist of ancient valleys. These days I most just dream about dumb shit.
I have a Moonlander split keyboard that is programmable and uses one of these little things for its reset button. My only gripe with it is that they could have designed a place for it to slot into the keyboard itself since it’s very easy to lose it if it isn’t otherwise attached to something.
The reset button is used to apply firmware changes. For this keyboard you can customize the keys to pretty much however you like. I have one of the thumb cluster buttons set to Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V for efficiency. It’s great for making changes to personalize your mechanical keyboard experience… but it requires that pin to make changes lol.
I like it since I can assign Enter to one of the left thumb cluster buttons, you normally can’t hit enter with your left hand on a standard keyboard layout.
I’ll throw down a recommendation for ground news (app). They take the news, organize it and show you the same article from left center and right. They show you your blind spots in news as well (stuff that is on the other side of you).
Anyone have anything against it or other recommendations?
I’ve found ground news to have a right slant. Both the owner and developer have traditionally right leaning interests. I don’t find the stories that get “promoted” to the front of ground ot be all that neutral.
I could be talking out my ass, but after trying to use ground for a few weeks, I felt that I was seeing more and more right wing talking points than what I consider neutral news.
I like the concept but I want something I can run locally (and update by myself) in a docker container or a Virtual Machine. I’m tired of online service changing their products for the worse or increasing prices because they feel like it.
In mythology, Uranus (or Ouranos) is the son AND husband of Gaia (Earth). They had 18 kids together, but he hated having kids, so he hid the kids inside Gaia… in a cave I guess, presumably not the same cave he was having sex with. In response, she gave the youngest, Cronus, a magic sickle and he castrated Ouranos. So somehow, despite 63 Earths being able to fit inside Uranus, Uranus managed to fit himself inside of Earth at least 18 times.
It’s also crazy that astronomers didn’t go with the objectively cooler ‘Ouranos’ spelling of the name, and instead went with the ‘Your Anus’ spelling.

It was exactly the same cave he was having sex with. He refused to remove his penis to prevent their children from leaving the womb cave, so Kronos had to castrate Ouranos so they could emerge.
