LONDON, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Britain said its Typhoon fighter jets intercepted two Russian maritime patrol bomber aircraft in international airspace north of Scotland on Monday, within NATO’s northern air policing area.
“Pilots launched in their Typhoon jets to intercept two Russian long-range bombers this morning, monitoring them as they passed north of the Shetland Islands, ready to counter any potential threat to UK territory,” British armed forces minister James Heappey said.
Britain said its Typhoon jets are routinely scrambled during such incidents to secure and safeguard its skies.
British pilots also recently led NATO’s air policing mission in Estonia, where more than 50 similar air intercepts were carried out, it added.
Earlier on Monday, Russia said its strategic bombers had carried out routine flights over international waters in the Arctic.

I’m probably exaggerating but without insurance, I have to call up each place and each place has a different price. Thats at least hoe it worked with the tests recently. Some were over 100 just for the tests…f’ed up honestly.
Rat tests are about 5 to 10 bucks around here. They are not as accurate, but does it change the treatment if you have flu or covidy? Bed rest, fluids, painkillers, avoid people.

And I don’t care what other people decide to do for their own health, for the record. I think everyone is free to do as they wish, and I always have. I just wish the same courtesy was extended to me and mine when this was an unpopular opinion to have, but of course that’s too much to expect from people who believe they know what’s best for everyone else.
That said, if you actually take another booster, you deserve to be made fun of. I would never advocate that these people should be fired, or run out of society, or put in a camp, or summarily executed, but pardon me for thinking some light ridicule is warranted.

I wear masks on public transport and when flying. Even without reading the latest research on long-term COVID impacts, the amount of people openly sneezing and coughing is enough to convince me to keep doing it.
I really only see people wear masks at the Asian market anymore. I always keep one on me and put it on if it’s crowded but tbh I’ve resigned to being driven to early grave by everyone that treats it like a joke. Already been seriously infected with it twice in the past year, and on top of my hypertension and family history of heart disease and stroking out at 40, I’ll be lucky to see another 10-15 years.
None at all in my upstate, NY area. We ditched them a long time ago. They are useless anyways. There is no pandemic and really wasn’t one ever. We all got fleeced. Never again.
