Man… Screw CSS… I already know how to make everything be how and where I want it with HTML alone and I still just don’t want a way to make it simpler or better…
Other commenter was right… I did it with old school js… So damn surprised tho how bad shit still is with CSS even these days tho … Wife had to get me to click Ctrl minus to size her weird medical stuff viewable earlier because their damn site is so useless… Lol
Do people these days still know O’Reilly books? I’ve seen a few posts over the past couple years that are essentially asking “how did you figure out how to program without Stack Overflow?”
We usually know O’Reilley as that one annoying website that opens up with minimal information and a pointer to some chapter in some book of theirs that you need to buy to solve the question you asked
In all seriousness, people do know it exists but free/cheap online educational content is surprisingly accessible now so nobody really migrates towards textbooks anymore. Although I do admit that occasionally books have a lot of useful information that is very hard to obtain otherwise
BTW, I don’t know what software you use for editing, but the purple fringing around the highlights at the top can be fixed in RawTherapee using Details-Defringe filter. I’ve been fighting with that on some of my pics from woods too.
Thank you! And this was just a quick edit on Snapseed. My phone (Oneplus 7pro) isn’t known for its very ok cameras. It is also just an edited jpeg so there is only such much information I can hope to recover from the highlights and blacks. I normally use Lightroom or Darktable if it is shot with my DSLR. I’ll have to check out that program though.
That number actually seems pretty low now, considering the number of Instagram accounts is already in the billions. Maybe they didn’t activate all of them to make it seem more believable?
That’s pretty impressive. I hope it continues to grow. It would be nice if there was some way to mirror the content that gets posted on Reddit specifically the highly popular posts in news subreddits but otherwise I like it a lot.
Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using an URL instead of its name, which doesn’t work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !moddedmc
