I’m excited to see what new and interesting features will be implemented that we never could have gotten on Reddit. FOSS (free and open source software) has a history of being an environment where innovation can be fostered, unrestrained by the whims of the market.
i work in digital product and UX strategy/design, and it’s my dream to put together a ragtag design and development team to build experiences that make migrating to the Fediverse intuitive and enjoyable for all. it’s time to remind these social media companies how fragile their power is.
How do you like this model? I love handheld consoles. I have a Steam Deck but for traveling I’d like to get something way lighter and smaller to just toss in my bag. Tempted to dip for one of these soon.
I suppose it is a preference of metal or plastic and vertical or horizontal form factor. There is also joystick and D-Pad placement. Since I almost never use the joysticks for retro gaming I prefer the D-pad and buttons to be on the top. I also prefer the metal casing to the plastic, but it is slightly heavier.
I already like the vibe of this place more, at least socially. The site is a bit cumbersome but I’m willing to stick with it to see how it can get better. Plus Sync for Lemmy will be coming and then my life will be fixed.
I’m a bit confused. The new season is 8, but people keep referring to it as 11. Even news articles will put 11 in the title, but will refer to it as 8 in the body of the article. Is this some kind of in-joke I missed? There definitely aren’t seasons 9 or 10…
Yes! I did that as well, I went with an opposite sex. Now I have a whole family pack. Hahaha!
I am a very busy person and even though 2 hours a day (for playing; minus the feeding and cleaning) is alot for me, for them, it is just not enough. There is something that a “dog-pack companionship” can do that I just can’t fill.
Now I don’t feel guilty at all even in cases where if I can’t play with them at all. They can keep each other entertained now.
I only have a few hours as well. I had way more time when I got my beagle, but got fired from tht job. I got a much better one, but the commute is a lot longer. :/
