I kinda like it, and hope we see more of this. Maybe skeuomorphism is not the best idea for UI elements these days, but for things like icons it makes perfect sense.

Many apps in iOS still use beautifully detailed icons which make for eyecandy without sacrificing functionality.

Anyone use both sync and boost? I had used RIF so trying to get a feel for how each had worked before leaning towards one

Yes I have. There both good it legit comes down to personal preference. I preferred boos between the 2 but Sync is just as good.

I originally used sync but then moved to boost. They’re both quite good and honestly the main difference between them is just personal preference. Once the Lemmy apps are out, I recommend just using both and seeing which one you gravitate towards more
