Metal people are always like “nooo it’s not all annoying noise and throaty growling, you just have to listen to X” and then X is all annoying noise and throaty growling.
I mean if you don’t like metal then don’t listen to it but metal has as much sub genres as the rest of the music has genres. Basically if you can think of sth there is probably a metal Version of it(idk why though)

That’s because every metal band suffers from the delusion that their sound is novel and genre defining, when more likely, it’s just a tiny variation on annoying noise and throaty growling.
I do understand that growling is the part that often splits opinions and I won’t act otherwise, but there’s quite a lot of metal songs/bands with no growling.
I guess the conclusion that “metal is mostly just annoying noise and throaty growling” is related to what gets discussed online - in most cases the vocal part of metal fans are already in the deep end of the subgenres, so only the really heavy stuff gets mentioned. So I do understand where you’re coming from, no real criticism here. :D
I guess the “less heavy” stuff is less often discussed, or just forgotten about when people are talking about “metal” as a whole:
Another random example, Jonathan Young’s metal cover of Hellfire (from Disney’s Notre Dame). Almost completely clean vocals, but also a bit “angry” sounding here and there.
Kardashev - Torchpassing is also one of my all-time favourites, and it’s mostly clean vocals. I guess the genre of this song is questionable anyway, due to being a bit more “chill” in many parts of the song - but the faster parts are quite clearly metal. Growling is used like an “extra effect” a couple of times.
It’s also perfectly fine to not enjoy any of these, just dropping them here as examples about metal songs which have a clear melody and clean vocals. :D
I do like my noise-filled growling too, though. This is one of the songs where I completely understand that vast majority of people would hate it, and anyone expecting otherwise would be delusional. I love it, but I also hate when some people act like everyone should enjoy stuff like this lmao.

This is a shitshow, probably illegal and the “10” years smoke detectors never last more than 6, like i know a German Youtuber did some magic math and testing, the 10 years is even under laboratory conditions basically impossible, in the real world the thing may go off once or twice, and are tested if they work, already taking out at least 1 year of time…

Both kinds exist. Both have different benefits and drawbacks.
You shouldn’t only be using one type in your house.
Optical is great for detecting large smoke particles quickly. If the smoke is small particles, though, it’ll need to be rather dense before it’ll go off. Ionizing detectors have the opposite issue; they react quickly to small particles but can’t detect large particles that well.
No the sensitivity of radiation based smoke alarms tends to cause false positives which in turn causes people to ignore them making them less effective. Optical smoke detectors are overall the newer and better technology.
That being said radiation based smoke detection is still a cool concept. There might be a few areas where they perform better still, though probably not.
For best protection, it is recommended both (ionization and photoelectric) technologies be used in homes. In addition to individual ionization and photoelectric alarms, combination alarms that include both technologies in a single device are available.
The smoke detectors in my house are hooked up to the main power, but they still take a battery and beep when the battery is dead. I thought the battery was backup, but they die after about 2 years, so it can’t be backup, it must be used for something.
I found that out one very exciting morning, when it decided to sing me the song of its people. If you’ve never stumbled down the stairs at 4am looking for a fire with your bollocks flapping about, I heartily recommend it.

None of this is because of Trump. He is too far removed from office and inflation is typically not the result of something the executive did. The Fed and Congress are much more directly responsible for the economy as they control the purse strings and interest rates respectively.

Love the cognitive dissonance of the populist backlash to Trump where even if you look at his 4 years and realize that logically he was pretty much an average (we haven’t had a decent one in a loooooong time) president in all categories, he’s somehow responsible for every bad in all industries, even where the checks and balances would have prevented him any influence over.
Trump is the least capable POTUS in US history with the only possible exception being Pierce. He was an unmitigated disaster for policy and the views of the USA abroad. He was shit.
The catch is he’s not responsible for the current inflation. That’s because the Fed did not act fast enough.
It’s the Fed’s fault for overreacting to COVID and leaving rates at 0% for years. That shit has permanent consequences. A whole lot of people got insanely rich from a global tragedy.
