I think the client is actually built by Telegram itself. The main developer certainly seems employed by Telegram. While not 100% as speedy as the original Win32 client, Unigram is a proper Windows citizen, with support for a range of modern features (including the reason I shifted, namely that it handles multiple monitors with different DPIs without any problems)
I think Anon is selling himself short. Basically, the coworker who gave the lighter would have thought, ”Man, Anon might appreciate this lighter” and kept it around until he had a chance to give it to Anon. At least that’s what I think. Anon is definitely not an NPC.
It depends what Anon does for the player. NPCs are grubby little shits, always wanting something, but always eventually paying out. If Anon is a virgin, then the price might have already been paid.
I mean to be fair, we mentally fill in blanks with just four pictures that might be misleading. Maybe someone egged an iPhone then egged, breaded, and deep fried an appropriately sized block of spam.
