When watching a show a while after it’s released you can sometimes tell when a show was canceled because a season will end on a big (occasionally spiteful) event....
Well I’m hopping around… again. I thought I had a good stable setup going but then something happens upstream that goes against what I want/believe in (looking at you RedHat) and I’m back on the hunt again....
So I was asked this by my friends kid. Would you rather live in the most boring place in the world, or be a hat? So to spice it up a little here are some rules....

It’s used on so many country instances and I’ve started to wonder.
Any amusing anecdotes to share with that person?
Wondering whether people keep a lot of smelly, unwrapped stuff in there, cleaning schedules, etc.
So this is a rather niche question so I hope it is still relevant to this group, but I was thinking. The big package transport companies(in the US this is UPS and FedEx) make most of their air cargo money on overnight packages, where the business model is pretty straightforward. One of the few things that differentiates the major distros is the package manager. I’ve been running void on my laptop for the last 3 years and love it. XBPS is super fast and easy to use. It has never left me with a broken system either. That said, I’ve got the itch to switch....
So I installed Debian 12 with btrfs and apparently it only uses a single subvolume rootfs. I would like to have my /home in a separate subvolume (and possibly /var too I guess) and with a flat subvolume structure. I started figuring out on how to do it and I feel like I’m not entirely sure yet so I need a sanity check....
