Seems like it's even more important here than on reddit. As some communities have multiples on different instances like the aww communities has 3 so far....

Whenever you have cross-posted stuff on different instances, you find yourself unable to comment or upvote on posts....
Like breaking news or general news? I have a few lists that I like having open on my desktop.
Do you use a non-tiling window manager like IceWM or blackbox? I use a patched version of motif window manager and it works really well....
Has anyone had any experience? If so how has it been?

As far as I've seen FAQs is should be so but my test comment doesn't appear on the host server, just on lemmy.world. Is this a sync issue, or a weird feature?
I just fall on this and didn't know you can't remove stuff from lemmy....
I’ve created two 2 instances and am admin of both. I’d like to transfer my account across or at least federate with all my subscriptions. It would take me all day to find all those communities again.

I have a server I can use for hosting “stuff”. I want to add containers to host and help with the fediverse load balancing. Lemmy is a pain so if anyone has a simple docker yaml, could you share? And pixelfed is really cool so anyone know how to dockerize it and share it’s yaml? Cheers friends!

So I’m using mlem and wefwef apps. Issues with my comments and posts being posted. Also mlem app seems to have issues with photos both non nsfw and nsfw. Anyone else?

I have been out of the loop for a while with the development of Linux/GNU based OSes on phones. However, with seeing how companies (like reddit) can change the rules as they wish, I want to see if completely switching to Linux is possible....
