I remember reading somewhere that mathematical symbols make up an “incomplete” written language (or something like that). I commonly formulate problems, or complete sentences using only mathematical symbols. From a linguistic perspective, what separates mathematical symbols from “complete” writing systems?
I used to be a user of RARBG and in the wake of their absence, everyone seems to be suggesting Torrentgalaxy. Unfortunately, no matter how popular the torrent is, I haven’t been able to download a single file from there. For me, it was the game Rocket Jockey released by Sega Soft in '96. It was perfect. The game featured a surf rock soundtrack by Dick Dale. The entire premise of the game was to ride around on rockets and using long cables to yank your opponents off theirs. Referees were also fair play. I don’t think I’ve met anyone else who...

Aparently, I’ve conflated Level with Plumb, the walls cannot be parallel and plumb. Due to the curve, the center of gravity for the walls would require them to angle in slightly together or not be plumb.
A lot of these people are boomers. Rushkoff is much younger and I think Gen X. Where are the Gen Y/Z versions? Are there more Gen Xers to check out?...
