I started to go bald at the age of 20, and it was a major kick in the nuts at first. After I finally accepted my fate, i now use a disposable razor in the shower almost every morning, and keep my remaining hair at almost zero length. Some girls dig a bald head, and some girls think its a turnoff. But i have come to enjoy it. It is very low maintenance and it feels great in the summer. More aerodynamic as well lol
After seeing the comment on a few posts, the length is really bothering me. I don’t want to block the bot since it’s useful information. What about a single line of text with a link to “read more”?
Example with explanations:
404 Media is rated with High Creditability by Media Bias Fact Check. (change Media Bias Fact Check to a link that goes to a post explaining what they do, the reason for the bot, and a link to their donation page)
Check the bias and credibility of this article on ground.news. (change “this article” to be a link instead of displaying link in plain text)
Because then you don’t know if the bot is not working or is behind or if the post is actually credible. Better to have it on everything, though it definitely could put less info on high credibility posts if it can’t be condensed across the board.
If you attach so much of your personality and self-worth on your hair, this is probably for the best. Time to do some inner-reflection and figure out something a bit more meaningful to tether yourself to.
Wow, that’s like… exactly what I was looking for. It’s also from a brand I don’t recognize and reviews say there’s no manual (I ignore those anyway), but if it works it works. And 4 2.5G ethernet? What an odd board!!
Thanks! I’ll definitely be looking to see if I can find out anything more about this board!
The mfg website had other networking and NAS-type stuff, so I guess they’re an OEM in China.
The OMV page says it idles at ~23W, which seems odd since that CPU has a 6W TDP and other boards with the same CPU seem to idle around 6W. It seems something to do with how they’re using PCIe to provide the I/O is taking up a lot of power?
I started shaving my head when my hair started thinning in my early 30’s. That was 25 years ago. I used to love my hair, but now I would not go back to having hair if I had the option. It took a few weeks to get used to for me.
I use to have long hair and a ponytail. I started to lose hair, like all men in my family, around ~25 yo. (I swear I don’t do roids or testosterone treatment)
I just jumped the gun and shaved i all.
I really enjoy being bald:
It feels great to be able to scrub and moisturise your scalp after every shower
Sometimes, I will let my beard grow for a few days, and groom it real well (shave clean the bottom half of my neck, and the top of the cheeks). I believe I look good.
If you’re worried about male pattern hair lose, but don’t care about having a libido: Prescription Finnesteride. It a testosterone blocker specifically for the one that causes male pattern baldness. I was hitting stage two, and a long with the HRT I’m taking, I am seeing a lot of clawback on spots I thought would be bald forever.
I only pay like $15 for three months through GoodRX.
