My wife's dad makes this garlic chili oil where he tosses a bunch of red Asian chili peppers (that he grows himself each summer) and a ton of minced garlic and blends it with a neutral oil.
I normally mix it with some mayo to give it a thicker texture so it's more dippable but it's good by itself too. It goes great with essentially everything, but my favourites to use it with are eggs, pizza, and meats.
Funny that not one example of racism existed in that post and you were asked multiple times to point it out, yet never did despite claiming it was in there.
How about you share an example of this “anti-Blackness in this thread”?
My sister is the type that most would call “A Karen”. She finds problems when no problems exist. She’s not racist. The problems she finds are just mundane things that she uses to become angry over.
She ordered the fish at a resteraunt, and then when the waitress brought what she wanted, she complained that it was frozen fish. The waitress asked to clairify how she knew it wasn’t cooked if she hadn’t taken a bite yet, and my sister clairified that she was upset that this was a previously frozen fish, rather than a caught fresh fish from the lake.
She made no attempt to ask about this when ordering. She just threw a $100 bill on the table, and stormed off leaving the rest of the family behind.
When we were kids, she cried at my mom that her oreo had a crack in it. So she refused to eat it. So I ate it. Now she was crying that I ate her oreo.
My point is, there are people in life who LOOK for problems. And it’s like I tell my sister, if you look for problems, you’ll find pronlems. If you look for solutions you just might find help.
And it seems to me that OP here is looking for problems when they are so miniscule, that the rest of us are having difficulty finding proof of their existence.
What you’re looking for is called “debouncing”. I think the answer I’m linking here is wrong, the time is not tuneable in libinput. If you want to go through the ordeal of re-compiling libinput and shoving it in your system (without breaking it all?), it is
debounce_set_timer() and debounce_set_timer_short() in evdev-debounce.c. I think it’s the ms2us(25) call.
Mokka pots are one of my favorite brew methods but they’re super particular if you want a really stellar cup. Grind coarse, do not tamp, pull the heat ASAP when the pot starts to spit at the end and/or when the color of the brewed coffee starts to lighten and you’ll get a great brew.
I can’t imagine using a restrictive filter in there when just changing from coarse to fine grind or tamping affects extraction so much. I expect you’d have a much better result just filtering fines after the fact like you’re doing.
I usually don’t even pour all of the mokka pot brew into my cup, I leave the last bit with the most fines in the pot and just dump it. You can also let the coffee sit for a little bit (a minute or so) after pouring it into your cup and most of the fines will settle to the bottom.
Yes and it can be a challenge. We married before I had really solidified my views on it. Ironically my views became solid AF because I started reading the Bible. Fixed me up right away.
We get by because she does not push it on me and I don’t really talk to her about it. I get along with her and her family because they are really good people who choose to follow the best parts of the Bible. They are relatively progressive, meaning they are tolerant of other religions, accept abortion more or less along the lines of Roe v. Wade, etc. I do wish she was an atheist because I liken religion to a cult and sometimes when she makes negative comments about MAGA people I have to hold my tongue. But otherwise she’s great. She takes care of me and I her. Been married 20 years.
If anything happened to her I think I would actively seek a new mate who was atheist.
Don’t know if someone can link it but going to ask anyway can someone link me to the community of ELI5 that has like 13k subscribers so I can add it to my feed.?
