You might take a hit to your reputation with that company; but if they already were presenting enough red flags for you to back out of an interview; I wouldn’t consider that to be a problem.
If you cancel an interview it’s not a big deal. No money changed hands. No agreement was ever reached. Their emotional feelings are irrelevant; the whole point was to help both sides decide if you could work with the other.

I used KVM with virt-manager for a long time. Even ran a gaming VM with GPU pass-through.
Then I created a Docker image with Linux, Gnome, and novnc so I can spin one up instantly with little resource overhead and control it from any web browser.
I’ve never seen any of his videos, but from what I’ve heard he’s most famous for big charitable stuff, including “#TeamSeas” and things where he gives a heap of money to viewers/randoms with medical bills or something like that.
Obviously, the cleanup project from TeamSeas was actually basically a scam, but it’s not clear how much Mr Beast knew that. Or even, frankly, how much the person behind the cleanup project knew it couldn’t work; whether he was hopelessly naive or wilfully pretending the criticism didn’t exist. And individual philanthropy is a highly inefficient use of money in terms of aid, that might be popular because it has a much higher benefit to the donor (in terms of social credit and thus in terms of ad revenue on YouTube) than working with efficient charities. So from someone paying attention, criticism of him and his intentions could have come earlier, but it was always easy to brush off for those going into it wanting to trust him, presumably because he’s entertaining and comes across as likeable on camera.
The upgrabability of this laptop does have one caveat, though. The bottom is a bother to remove, and most Youtube crap conveniently glosses over them. For one, some of the screws would get loose but not come out all the way. I eventually found the trick was to throw some pry tool under the screw head to hold it up so I could get it the rest of the way out. After they were all out, the bottom cover STILL wouldn’t budge. This too ended up being a matter of jamming a pick in one corner of the case and running another one to slowly pry up the bottom case on all sides. I lost a plastic tab or two in the process, but that doesn’t show up on the outside, and I think 24 GB of RAM (and 2 TB of NVME 2280 storage + 256 GB, the Windows drive that I left in the 2242 bay) will be plenty for a long time.
It’s an E series ThinkPad. They are a lot less durable than any other series - they are basically the Dell Vostro of ThinkPads. (Even Dell doesn’t consider the Vostro line business ready now)
For the next best thing for a slight price increase would be the L series which is a lot more bulky and durable (and more repairable in fact - you can’t replace a keyboard in an E) which still doesn’t come with the premium price of the T series.
I sort of consider dipping fries and fries with stuff on them to be two different but related species of meal, pretty much exactly like the difference between chips-and-salsa and nachos. Frychos.
As to preferences, for dipping, spicy ketchup (mix tomato ketchup 1-for-1 with siriacha or other hot sauce); for frychos, fucking everything! Load em up: guacamole, chilli, cheese, onions, peppers, bacon, mushrooms, gravy, salsa, mustard, marshmallows, spinkles, alright alright I’m getting carried away now, you get the idea!

The tl;Dr is that a forrest is an organism unto itself. Trees literally use each other for support, regulate the temperature, and terraform the ground around them (pine being the most visible example). The natural cycles and interspecies communication is jaw dropping.
So, back in 2013, I signed up for a now defunct local website, where I met this kid from Aragón. To respect his privacy, I’ll call him S. There wasn’t much going on at the time and eventually we grew apart.
Fast-forward to 2016, I move to Madrid to start college. In my first year class, there was this guy I’ll refer to as L, a trans man from the Basque Country with really chaotic energy, who kept doing really cursed things for the sake of it. One morning he arrived at the class claiming that, the previous day, he cooked a few bean stew ice pops, and hid them across the campus. Obviously the people who found them weren’t thrilled and, to no one’s surprise, didn’t eat them. So, at the end of the day, he picked up all of the bean stew ice pops, and shoved them off into the freezer at his rental flat.
Sadly, the next year, L moved to a different campus and to a different flat. Though he remained involved with a gamedev association at the same university.
Fast-forward to 2020, I’m almost done with my degree and the pandemic hits. My old friend S and I reconnect over Discord and tell each other about our lives, then share some funny memes. At some point we begin discussing cursed food, and S proceeds to tell me this: «I had a friend who went to Madrid for college, and when he first arrived at his rental flat, can you guess what he found in the freezer? bean stew ice popsicles».
What were the odds? How many flats in Madrid would have bean stew ice pops, of all things, in the freezer?
Bonus: S and I shared this story with a common friend, call her C. C stated that she wanted to greet L. After all, she was involved with the same gamedev association, and she did know of a trans guy from the Basque Country with that name and degree. But when C greeted him and told him about the ice pops, he had no idea what she was talking about.
It turned out to be a different trans guy from the Basque Country with the same name and degree that was also collaborating with the same association.
